    How to Reach Kothaligad Base Village for Fireflies Festival?

    Kothaligad is a easily accessible location, there are many options to reach the Campsite. You can reach there by Air, Roadways, Railways. You can reach there by your own car or private vehicle or by public transport.
    • By Train/Public Transport: The closest railway station to Kothaligad is the Karjat Railway Station. From here you can take a Jeep/Tum-tum to reach the Base village. Kothaligad is at approx 27.9 kms from the Karjat local train station. If you have a big group you can rent an entire share cab (8 people in a Tum-Tum). We can get the Jeep arranged for you on prior request.

    • By Road - Car/Bike/Own Vehicle: Igatpuri Campsite is at a distance of 89.5 km from Mumbai and it should take around 2 hours 41 minutes to reach the Campsite.

    • By Air: The nearest airport to Kothaligad Fort is Mumbai Airport from here you can take any public transport to reach the campsite.

    Charges For Kothaligad Fireflies Festival 2023:

    • You can reach the campsite in your own vehicle
      Camping fees with this option will be Rs. 1200 per person

    • Camping & Pickup/Drop from Karjat Railway Station
      Pickup/Drop Time: 06:24 pm Karjat / next day 11:00 am pickup from Karjat
      Camping fees with this option will be Rs. 1600 per person

    • Kids Charges: For Kids Camping Charges without pickup are Rs. 499 and with Pickup from Kasara are Rs. 950
